Who I am

Welcome. My name is Emily and I am your Clinical Organizational Development Specialist.

It took several years to define my role in the clinical setting as I have a unique and diversified clinical background. I have worked in various settings such as on the ambulance (MICU) and in clinics, hospitals, and specialty centers. These experiences have allowed me to move easily from one setting to another. In each new setting, I am motivated to learn as much as I can about each department so that I can better assist the team as a whole.

As a Clinical Organizational Development Specialist, I play a crucial role in enhancing company performance and workplace culture. I am responsible for a wide range of tasks, including needs assessment, program design, change management, training and development, performance management, culture building, data analysis, and consultation. To excel in my role as a Clinical Organizational Development Specialist, I have developed a diverse skill set, including analytical, communication, interpersonal, project management, and facilitation skills. I also utilize various tools and technologies, such as EHR software, learning management systems, survey tools, and data analytics tools. My career as a Clinical Organizational Development Specialist offers numerous opportunities for growth, with potential paths leading to senior-level positions or specialized roles. By adopting best practices such as continuous learning, a holistic approach, leadership engagement, and effective communication, a Clinical Organizational Development Specialist can maximize their impact and contribute significantly to organizational success.

In addition to my role as a Clinical Organizational Development Specialist, I maintain my National Registry and Texas license as an emergency medical technician. Although, I am no longer active in the field, I enjoy working with the next generation of medics and I am happy to share my tips and tricks of the trade.
